WHAT ARE   THEY?

Age: 10½ - 14 years

Uniform: Teal Green long sleeved shirt or blouse, navy blue activity trousers, leather scout belt and buckle and the Group Scarf and woggle.

Scouting is based on a programme of lively, challenging and interesting activities. There is a lot of emphasis on outdoor life such as camping and hiking and learning the skills that go with them. Scouts take part in a balanced programme that helps them to find out about the world in which they live, encourages them to know their own abilities and the importance of keeping fit and helps develop their creative talents. It also provides opportunities to explore their own values and personal attitudes.

The Troop is divdided into Patrol of between 4-6 scouts, each of theseis led by a patrol leader.
